## Ingredients

- 400 g ground beef, raw
- 50 g breadcrumbs, dry
- 1 × egg, beaten
- 30 g parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 × garlic, minced
- 10 g parsley, chopped
- 5 g salt, to taste
- 2 g black pepper, to taste
- 15 ml olive oil, for cooking
- 300 g pasta, uncooked
- 400 ml crushed tomatoes, canned
- 1 × onion, diced
- 2 g dried oregano, dry
- 1 g red pepper flakes, optional

## Method

1. **Prepare the mini meatballs** In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, grated parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined. Form small bite‑size meatballs about 1‑inch in diameter. Set aside.
2. **Brown the meatballs** Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove meatballs and set aside.
3. **Prepare the tomato sauce** In the same skillet, add diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir. Simmer for 10 minutes.
