- 400 g spaghetti
- 500 g ground chicken
- 1 × egg, beaten
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 40 g parmesan, grated
- 3 × garlic, minced
- 1 × onion, finely chopped
- 700 ml tomato passata
- 30 ml olive oil
- 2 g dried oregano
- 5 g salt
- 2 g black pepper, ground

## Method

1. **Make the chicken meatball mixture** In a bowl, combine the ground chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, grated parmesan, half the garlic, salt and pepper. Mix until evenly combined, then roll into small meatballs.
2. **Brown the meatballs** Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Brown the meatballs on all sides until golden, then set aside.
3. **Prepare the tomato sauce** In the same pan, soften the onion and remaining garlic. Add the tomato passata and dried oregano, season and simmer.
4. **Cook the spaghetti** Boil the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain, reserving a little cooking water.
