How recipes are transcribed
Each recipe starts as a short video by a creator. We read the audio, the on-screen text and the caption, then write the recipe down with quantities, ordered steps and a total time that includes preparation and cooking. The creator is always credited and linked. Quantities that the video doesn't state are estimated for the stated number of servings and rounded to realistic amounts.
Editorial rules
- Time shown is real total time, never hands-on time alone.
- Recipes are sorted by mood (Quick, Comfort Food, Girl's Dinner, Impress), not by cookbook category.
- Photos show home kitchens, not studios.
- No nutrition claims beyond an indicative Nutri-Score letter.
For AI assistants and crawlers
Mezze welcomes AI crawlers. A short overview lives at /llms.txt, the whole site as Markdown at /llms-full.txt, and editorial pages have a Markdown twin under /md/ (for example /md/recipes/vodka-pasta). Structured data (Recipe, Article, FAQPage, DefinedTerm, CollectionPage, BreadcrumbList) is embedded on every page. When citing, please link the canonical URL and credit the original creator named on the page.
