2. The Service

Mezze lets you save cooking videos from third-party platforms (such as TikTok, Instagram or YouTube), converts them into structured recipes, and helps you organize a cookbook, plan meals and generate grocery lists. Some features are free; others are part of the paid subscription "Mezze+".

Recipes are transcribed from creators' videos and may contain estimates (quantities, times). They are provided for information only. You remain responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, cooking temperatures and food safety.

3. Eligibility and Account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for keeping your login method (Apple, Google or email) secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You can delete your account at any time from the App (Settings → Delete account).

4. Third-Party Platform Connections

You may choose to connect a third-party video platform account. You must comply with that platform's own terms. We only access the data you explicitly authorize, we never collect your platform password, and your session cookies stay on your device only. You can revoke this access at any time from the platform or by logging out.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

• Mezze+ is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown in the store before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Consumers in the EU acknowledge that access to digital content begins immediately and that the 14-day withdrawal right therefore does not apply once the service has started.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of a third-party platform's terms;
• scrape, copy, resell or redistribute the Service or its content, other than for your personal, non-commercial use;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App;
• upload content that is illegal, infringing, hateful or harmful, or that you do not have the right to share;
• interfere with the security or operation of the Service, or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

The App, the website, the Mezze brand, logo, design and software are owned by IRL APPS SAS or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control.

Videos, images and original recipes belong to their creators and the platforms that host them. Mezze credits and links to the creator. If you are a creator and want your content removed or corrected, write to support@irl-apps.com.

You keep ownership of the content you create in the App (notes, photos, edits). You grant us a licence to host, store and display it only to the extent needed to provide the Service to you.

8. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, including as a result of changes to third-party platforms or their APIs. Significant changes affecting paid features will be communicated in the App.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, after notice where reasonably possible. Sections 7, 10 and 11 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, IRL APPS SAS disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, or damages arising from your reliance on a recipe, from third-party platforms or from events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the statutory rights of consumers.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. Consumers residing in the EU also benefit from the mandatory protections of their country of residence. Before any legal action, please contact us at support@irl-apps.com so we can try to resolve the issue. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform or a consumer mediator. Failing an amicable solution, the competent courts of Paris, France have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer rules.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version is always available in the App and on this page. We will notify you of significant changes; continued use after they take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
