Préparation

  1. Prepare the vegetables

    • Slice the onion thinly and add to a bowl.
    • Add the chopped green chillies and finely chopped coriander.
    Étape 1
  2. Season and rest the onions

    • Add the salt and all the seasoning, mix well.
    • Let sit so the salt draws out moisture from the onions.
    Étape 2
  3. Make the bhaji mixture

    • Sieve in the gram flour and corn flour.
    • Mix everything with your hands until sticky with no dry flour bits.
    • If overly sticky or dry, add a little water.
    Étape 3
  4. Shape the bhajis

    • Line the air fryer with baking paper and spray some oil on it.
    • Form small bhaji-sized portions and place on the baking paper without squeezing the mixture together.
    Étape 4
  5. Air fry the bhajis

    • Spray more oil on top and air fry at 180 °C, flipping halfway.
    • Continue in 2 minute increments, flipping as required, until crisp and browned.
    Étape 5
