Preparación

  1. Mix the butter and sugar

    • Place the melted butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl.
    • Beat with the electric mixer until combined.

  2. Add the eggs and colouring

    • Add the egg, egg yolk, vanilla extract and red food colouring.
    • Beat again with the electric mixer until smooth.

  3. Fold in the dry ingredients

    • Add the flour and cocoa powder to the bowl.
    • Mix with a spatula until just combined.

  4. Add the white chocolate and lemon juice

    • Chop the white chocolate and add it to the bowl with the lemon juice.
    • Mix again with a spatula.

  5. Bake the brownies

    • Pour the batter into the baking dish and spread evenly.
    • Bake at 180 °C.
    • Let it cool completely.

  6. Make the cream cheese frosting

    • Place the room-temperature butter and cream cheese in a bowl and beat with the electric mixer.
    • Add the vanilla extract and mix with a spatula.
    • Add the icing sugar piece by piece and beat with the electric mixer.

    • Spread the frosting over the cooled red velvet brownies.
    • Set in the fridge.
