paso a paso

Preparación

  1. Char the vegetables

    • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Once hot, add the tomatoes, tomatillos, onion, jalapeños, serrano and the garlic cloves with the peel on.
    Paso 1
  2. Char on all sides

    • Char the vegetables, flipping occasionally so they get charred on all sides.
    • The more color they get, the more flavor the salsa will have.
    Paso 2
  3. Blend the salsa

    • Transfer the charred ingredients directly to a blender, removing the garlic peel if it was charred.
    • Add the salt, pepper, chicken bouillon, lime juice, garlic and cilantro.
    • Pulse until you reach your desired consistency.
    Paso 3
  4. Taste and serve

    • Taste and adjust the salt and lime juice as needed.
    • Optionally add a teaspoon of olive oil to the blender to thicken the salsa a bit.
    Paso 4
