Préparation

  1. Preheat and prepare the pan

    • Preheat the oven to 175 °C (350 °F).
    • Grease a standard 9x5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper. Set aside.
    Étape 1
  2. Brown the butter

    • Add the butter to a saucepan over medium-high heat and let it melt and brown slightly.
    • Remove from the heat, immediately pour into a large bowl and let it cool slightly.
    Étape 2
  3. Mix the dry ingredients

    • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
    Étape 3
  4. Combine the wet ingredients

    • Once the brown butter has cooled slightly, add the mashed bananas, brown sugar, greek yogurt, eggs and vanilla.
    • Whisk until well combined.
    Étape 4
  5. Fold in the dry ingredients and chocolate

    • Add the dry mixture to the wet and fold with a wooden spoon or spatula until just combined, with no flour streaks remaining; do not overmix.
    • Fold in the chocolate chips.
    Étape 5
  6. Fill the pan

    • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
    • Top with extra chocolate chips or chunks if desired.
    Étape 6
  7. Bake

    • Bake at 175 °C (350 °F) until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
    Étape 7
  8. Cool and serve

    • Let cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes.
    • Remove from the pan and transfer to a serving plate or wire cooling rack.
    • Slice and serve warm with butter and flaky sea salt, if desired.
