Hosting without stress: the recipes that impress without technique
Roast chicken, baked feta, tiramisu: recipes that make an impact and can be made ahead. With a battle plan for the day.
The rule: time, not technique
What impresses is rarely difficulty. It's a whole dish set in the middle of the table, a dessert that rested overnight, a sauce that made itself in the oven while you had drinks.
The make-ahead menu
- The day before: speculoos tiramisu.
- In the morning: hummus, it waits in the fridge.
- 1h30 before: roast lemon chicken, in the oven untouched.
- When guests arrive: grilled pita, and that's it.
Groceries for six
Set each recipe to 6 people in Mezze, add them to Saturday in the planner, and the grocery list builds itself, added up and sorted by aisle.
