Melt the marshmallows

• Place the mini marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl.
• Microwave in short bursts, keeping an eye on them, until fully melted.

Form the webs

• Put on gloves and work quickly while the marshmallow is hot.
• Pat your hands together to stretch the marshmallow into fine web strands.

Drape over the cake

• Drape the marshmallow webs over the cake.
• If the marshmallow cools and stiffens, pop it back in the microwave to reheat.
