Przygotowanie

  1. Boil water and dissolve sugar

    • Pour 12 cups (about 2.8 L) of water into a large pot.
    • Add 2 cups of sugar.
    • Bring the water to a boil, stirring so the sugar dissolves.
    Krok 1
  2. Add the Thai tea leaves

    • Once the water is boiling and the sugar is dissolved, add 3 cups of Thai tea leaves (you can use tea bags or pour the loose leaves straight in).
    • Stir everything together.
    • Turn off the stove.
    Krok 2
  3. Steep the tea

    • Cover the pot with a lid.
    • Let the tea steep in the hot water for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
    Krok 3
  4. Strain the tea

    • Set a strainer over a large metal bowl.
    • Pour the steeped tea through the strainer to remove the leaves.
    • Discard the leftover tea leaves in a plastic bag; press them with a spoon to squeeze out any excess tea.
    Krok 4
  5. Store and serve

    • Pour the strained tea into a large Mason jar.
    • Refrigerate and serve whenever you want, adding condensed milk (or evaporated milk) to taste.
