paso a paso

Preparación

  1. Brown the butter

    • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring continuously, until slightly browned.
    • Pour the brown butter into a baking pan and set aside.
    Paso 1
  2. Preheat the oven

    • Preheat the oven to 350 °F.
    Paso 2
  3. Mix the dry ingredients

    • Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon in a bowl.
    Paso 3
  4. Mix the wet ingredients

    • In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, vanilla and sugar.
    • Add the dry ingredients and stir with a spatula until just combined.
    Paso 4
  5. Assemble the cobbler

    • Spoon the batter over the brown butter in the pan, without mixing.
    • Scatter the cream cheese chunks over the batter.
    • Sprinkle the brown sugar all over, then gently pour the hot water on top.
    Paso 5
  6. Bake the cobbler

    • Bake at 350 °F until golden brown and mostly set; the bottom will still be gooey.
    Paso 6
  7. Make the cinnamon sugar topping

    • While baking, mix the sugar and cinnamon together.
    Paso 7
  8. Finish and serve

    • Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar immediately over the hot cobbler.
    • Let cool slightly, then serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
