Bereiding

  1. Preheat the oven

    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

  2. Mix the dry ingredients

    • In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    • Set aside.

  3. Beat the butter and sugars

    • In a large bowl beat the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Add the egg and vanilla

    • Add the egg and vanilla.
    • Mix until combined.

  5. Combine with the dry ingredients

    • Slowly mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.

  6. Fold in the sprinkles

    • Fold in the sprinkles.

  7. Shape and bake the cookies

    • Scoop the dough with a cookie scooper onto a lined baking tray.
    • Press down on each cookie dough to flatten it a bit.
    • Bake for about 9-11 minutes.

  8. Cool the cookies

    • Let the cookies cool before frosting.

  9. Make the cream cheese frosting

    • In a bowl beat the cream cheese, butter, vanilla and salt until smooth and combined.
    • Add the powdered sugar and mix until combined.

  10. Frost and decorate

    • Add the frosting to a piping bag and pipe a swirl on the cookies.
    • Add some more sprinkles on top.
