Method
- Step 1
Preheat the oven
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C and line a square baking dish with parchment paper.
- Step 2
Make the cookie dough
- Whisk the melted butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Fold in the flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder and salt until a soft dough forms.
- Step 3
Assemble the bars
- Press about two thirds of the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Scatter the chocolate pieces and marshmallows over the dough.
- Crumble the remaining dough in small pieces over the top.
- Step 4
Bake
- Bake until the edges are golden and the marshmallows are puffed and lightly toasted.
- Step 5
Cool and cut
- Let the bars cool completely in the dish so they set, then cut into squares.
