How to make it

  1. 1

    Make the marinade

In a bowl, combine olive oil, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, smoked paprika and garlic powder.

  2. 2

    Marinate the salmon

Pour the marinade over the salmon.

    Season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Sear the salmon

Cook the salmon in a large pan until it is about 80% cooked through.

Remove from the pan and set aside.

  4. 4

    Start the orzo

In the same pan, add olive oil, minced garlic, fresh rosemary, chicken bouillon and the orzo.

Pour in the water, cover with a lid and let it cook for about 8 to 10 minutes.

  5. 5

    Make it creamy

Stir in the heavy cream, butter, red pepper flakes and fresh parsley.

    Optionally add in some cheese.

  6. 6

    Finish with the salmon

Lay the salmon back on top of the pasta.

Add a good squeeze of lemon juice.

Cover and let it cook for about another minute or so, then it's ready to enjoy.
