How to make it

  1. 1

    Marinate the beef

Place the thinly sliced beef in a bowl.

Coat it with the garlic pepper sauce (and soy sauce) and mix well so every slice is covered.

Let it marinate while you prepare the rest.

  2. 2

Wash the rice and add the aromatics

Rinse the short grain rice until the water runs clear, then drain.

Add the rice to the rice cooker (or stovetop pot) with the water.

Add the chopped onion, minced garlic and grated ginger.

    Add the corn.

  3. 3

    Add the beef and cook

Lay the marinated beef on top of the rice.

    Add the butter on top.

Press the magic button (or bring to a boil then cover and cook on low) and let it cook until the rice is tender and the beef is cooked through.

  4. 4

    Rest and serve

Let the rice rest covered for a few minutes.

Fluff and mix everything together so the savory sauce coats the rice.

Serve hot straight from the pot.
