Method

  1. Make the jalapeño popper filling

    • Mix the softened cream cheese with 1 tbsp ranch seasoning, shredded cheddar, shredded mozzarella, chopped scallions and chopped pickled jalapeños until well combined.
    Step 1
  2. Prep the pickles

    • Dry the pickles well with a paper towel.
    • Core out the inside of each pickle.
    • Stuff each pickle with the jalapeño popper mixture.
    Step 2
  3. Set up the breading station

    • Beat 3 eggs with a little heavy whipping cream.
    • Mix 1 cup flour with 1 tbsp ranch seasoning.
    • Blend the Flamin' Hot Cheetos into a fine dust.
    Step 3
  4. Bread the stuffed pickles

    • Coat each stuffed pickle in the seasoned flour.
    • Dip into the egg wash.
    • Roll in the Cheetos dust.
    • Repeat the egg and Cheetos coating for a thicker crust.
    Step 4
  5. Air fry

    • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes, flipping the pickles halfway through.
    • Cook until golden and crispy — check earlier, as air fryers can cook faster.
    • For an extra crunchy coating, roll in more Cheetos dust right when they come out of the air fryer.
