Préparation

  1. Prepare the cranberries

    • Wash the cranberries and pat them dry.
    • Pick through them and discard any soft or mushy berries.
    Étape 1
  2. Soak in cider and soda

    • Pour equal parts apple cider and Sprite into a bowl.
    • Add the cranberries and refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours.
    Étape 2
  3. Coat with powdered sugar

    • Strain the cranberries and transfer them to a clean bowl.
    • Add a generous amount of powdered sugar and shake until every berry is coated.
    • If the berries look wet or sticky, add more powdered sugar.
    Étape 3
  4. Dry in the oven

    • Preheat the oven to 200°F (95 °C).
    • Arrange the berries in a single layer on a tray and bake to dry the sugar coating, not to cook the berries.
    Étape 4
  5. Finish drying and chill

    • Leave the berries on the counter for a few hours to finish drying.
    • Store in an airtight container and refrigerate for 12 hours before serving chilled.
    Étape 5
