step by step

Method

  1. Chop the chocolate

    • Chop the Kinder Chocolate into bigger chunks and set aside.
    Step 1

  2. Mix the wet ingredients

    • In a large bowl, mix together the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar.
    • Mix in the egg, egg yolk and vanilla.

  3. Add the dry ingredients

    • Add the flour along with the baking powder and mix until just combined.
    Step 3

  4. Fold in the chocolate

    • Fold in the Kinder Chocolate chunks.
    Step 4

  5. Scoop and chill the dough

    • Scoop out 10 equal cookies onto a tray.
    • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour, up to 48 hours.

  6. Preheat the oven

    • 10 minutes before baking, preheat the oven to 170 °C fan setting.

  7. Bake the cookies

    • Place the cookies onto a baking tray lined with baking paper, leaving space between them.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

  8. Finish and serve

    • Top the cookies with more chocolate and let them firm up a bit before serving.
