step by step

Method

  1. Bake the bacon

    • Lay the bacon on a tray and bake until crispy.
    • Keep the whole pack ready for layering.
    Step 1
  2. Scramble the eggs

    • Beat the eggs with salt and pepper.
    • Scramble them in a pan and stir in part of the shredded cheese.
    Step 2
  3. Prepare the rolls

    • Slice the tops off the rolls in one piece and keep them as lids.
    • Place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
    Step 3
  4. Layer the sliders

    • Spread the cheesy scrambled eggs over the roll bottoms.
    • Add the crispy bacon in an even layer.
    • Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and put the lids back on.
    Step 4
  5. Make the jelly butter

    • Melt the salted butter with the grape jelly.
    • Microwave briefly if needed so the jelly breaks up; small lumps are fine.
    Step 5
  6. Coat and bake

    • Pour the jelly butter all over the sliders, making sure every bun gets some.
    • Bake at 175 °C until hot and the cheese is melted.
    Step 6
  7. Cut and serve

    • Cut all the way through the sliders, through the cheese and bacon, before serving.
    Step 7
