step by step
Method
- Step 1
Boil the pasta
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and season with salt.
- Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente.
- Step 2
Prep the onion and garlic
- Finely chop the onion.
- Mince the garlic.
- Step 3
Brown the beef
- Melt the beef tallow in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until mostly browned.
- Step 4
Build the sauce
- Add the onion and cook until soft.
- Stir in the garlic.
- Season with salt, pepper and cumin.
- Pour in the marinara sauce and rinse the jar with water to get it all in.
- Stir everything together.

Simmer the sauce
- Cover the pan and let the sauce simmer.
- Step 6
Combine and serve
- Add the drained pasta to the sauce.
- Mix everything together and serve.
